What is the rental process?

Getting Ready -What to do before you arrive.

Review and sign the agreement to the Rental Rules and Town Parking Policy.

Pay the deposit 10 days before arrival. Special circumstances can be made for house rental reservations less than 10 days before arrival. Your host will work with you on the deposit and payment dates.

All operators must read and acknowledge the agreement and parking policy prior to use.

Full payment of the golf cart rental is due 5 days before your house rental check-in date.

Access to the key will be provided before your check-in, provided that all drivers have completed the agreement forms and paid the rental fee

On the Move – Tips for safe and easy driving

We will provide a unique lockbox code to retrieve the golf cart key.

Disconnect the extension cord from the golf cart.

If children are riding, they must be in proper child safety seats.

Leave the driveway and drive towards Yacht Drive. Golf Carts are not allowed on roads over 35MPH.

A map of the area and proper destinations are provided in the glove box.

Use the QR code on the windshield for the LSV road rules and rental agreement.

Do not leave the key in the ignition when not in use.

Golf carts are to be parked in regular parking places at area businesses and beach access parking spaces.

If you receive a parking violation, pay the fine before midnight to avoid a late charge.

Follow all the rules of the road. Local police will ticket golf cart drivers for traffic violations such as not stopping at stop signs, not wearing seat belts, driving on sidewalks, children not in proper child seats, driving while impaired, etc.
